Local Manufacturing Improves Customer Experience

When you need machine components, you usually need them in a hurry to prevent downtime and other production issues. At Rollon, we produce about 75% of our linear guides and motion systems locally. The short turnaround times that result allow you to design not just with functionality in mind but also rapid delivery times.

Design for Rapid Delivery. The decision to make most of our parts domestically rather than in our European production facilities comes from customer requests for less lead time and faster product shipping. Manufacturing our products in the United States keeps lead times for our high-performance linear guides and motion systems to a fraction of the time it would take to source them from overseas. Examples include:

  • Compact Rails in 3 to 5 days
  • Telescopic Rails in 1 to 3 weeks
  • Actuators in 2 to 3 weeks

Of course, our large Italian facility still plays an important role. For customers with high volume orders, the factory in Italy often offers the most economical and efficient route to production. But most customers will benefit from our commitment to local manufacturing.

Convenient customer service. Local manufacturing also gives customers in North American time zones the ability to contact us during normal business hours with any questions or inquiries.
