63 mm or 2.43 inches for the mating mounting surface dimension across the backside of the cold-drawn steel rail. This linear guide with the induction hardened raceways is offered up to 4.080 meters or 160-5/8" long; beyond this length the rails are completely joinable for very long guidance. This linear guide way is offered with a "T" series master rail that allows for complete lateral stability, a "K" style master rail that allows for an additional +/- 2.0 degrees of planner mis-alignment, and a "U" series follower rail that allows for parallel mis-alignment of 3.9 mm or .154 inches. The rail utilizes two types of mounting holes for easy assembly, the TLV style of mounting holes are Countersunk for M10 x 1.5 screws and the TLC style of mounting holes are counterbored for use with the M8 Torx screws supplied with the rails. |

The two slider styles used with this size rail include the 3 bearing "N" style slider, and the 3, 4, 5, or 6 bearing "CSW" style sliders. The "NTE63", "NKE63" or "NUE63" cast aluminum bodies have 3 precision rollers running on opposed surfaces, the adjustable center roller sets the preload for the slider. This cast aluminum body has steel inserts for mounting, lateral seals, spring energized scrapers, and a felt wick reservoir good for 2 million cycles between lubrication intervals. The "CSW63" steel body can be supplied with 3, 4, 5, or 6 precision rollers running on opposed surfaces. The steel body design allows for saddle mounting in-line with the mounting of the rails. The slider has stiff steel backed modified polyamide scrapers to protect the ends of the slider from contamination. All the precision rollers are offered with zinc shields that provide labyrinth contamination protection as well as rubber seals to further protect the internal steel ball bearings.
These sized series have been widely used throughout gantry, pick-n-place, and assembly operations. This size linear rail and bearing system is generally chosen where high speed, long life, high capacity, low coefficient, and a very small cross-section under 2-1/2 inches are needed. |
