Rollon: a linear evolution to benefit industrial automation
Linear motion systems and mechanically integrated solutions designed to enhance industrial automation since 1975. Rollon, an international group based in Vimercate, contributes to the development of an increasingly efficient sector that is able to respond to today’s challenges and anticipate whatever the future may have in store.
“Thanks to a strategy based on intensive research and development coupled with pondered acquisitions, five in the last six years, we can now offer the market new solutions that can solve complex problems to guarantee a competitive advantage in the field of industrial automation” said Eraldo Bianchessi, Group Chairman.
Today, Rollon is not limited to offering linear and telescopic rails and linear actuators. It is also specialized in producing integrated mechanical systems with the Actuator System Line. One emblematic example is “Seventh Axis”, a shuttle system available in seven solutions to increase the range of action of anthropomorphic robots of up to 2000 kg in applications like painting and welding in the automotive sectors. Rollon products are the ideal solution for the industrial machines sector – such as the automation of Cartesian robots and multi-station presses or sheet metal processing or pick-and-place operations in small spaces – in the packaging and logistics industries, as well as in the transportation and medical industries. A linear evolution started in 1975 and still under way: the Vimercate-based manufacturer is working on new projects to ensure that its expertise will benefit Industry 4.0.
“Rollon is present in ten countries with around 550 employees for a turnover of almost 100 million Euro, which means a growth rate of 70% in the last three years” explained Bianchessi. “With one of the most complete ranges of mechanical solutions available on the market, based on integrated and highly customizable products, we are the ideal technological partner for anyone working in industrial automation”.
