Rollon has integrated its cam followers and locknuts ranges within the Product Center and Configurator tool of myRollon. The digital platform has also introduced three different types of account and improved navigation.
Rollon announces a significant update to myRollon, the digital platform designed to support engineers and designers throughout every phase of project development. With this latest release, the company has integrated its ranges of cam followers and locknuts into both the Product Center and Configurator, expanding the scope of components that can be managed directly within the platform.
Users can now seamlessly access technical documentation, define product configurations, generate unique product codes and request quotations specifically for these product families. This integration marks another step toward consolidating the entire Rollon Group portfolio into a single, cohesive digital environment.
“The update reinforces Rollon’s ongoing strategy to make myRollon the central hub for all resources, tools, and technical data related to linear and rotary motion solutions”, states Franck Michaux, Digital Transformation Director at Rollon. “By bringing additional product categories into the platform, we aim to enable a more streamlined workflow, reducing the need for external tools and ensuring greater consistency across project development stages”.
Three new account types
Alongside the product integration, myRollon introduces three distinct account types: Standard, Business and Partner. Each profile is designed to provide tailored access to content, functionalities and levels of support, depending on the user’s role and needs.
This segmentation allows Rollon to offer a more personalized and efficient experience, aiming to ensure that different stakeholders – from individual engineers to long-term partners – can interact with the platform in a way that best fits their operational context.
“Setting up these types of accounts gives us the opportunity to offer an even more comprehensive and tailored experience within the platform,” continues Franck Michaux. “Different users interact with myRollon in very different ways: some simply need quick access to technical data; others require more in-depth information or closer collaboration with our engineering teams. By structuring access in this way, we can deliver the right level of information and tools to each user, improving efficiency and making the overall experience more relevant”.
Improved user experience
The latest release also focuses on enhancing usability and navigation. The main menu has been updated to align with the visual style of Rollon Group’s corporate websites, creating a more consistent and immediately recognizable interface across digital touchpoints.
In addition, a new “favourites” feature has been introduced. While simple, this functionality addresses a practical need by allowing users to save frequently accessed products and return to them at any time. This makes it easier to resume ongoing work, compare solutions or keep track of preferred options, ultimately supporting a faster and more fluid design process.
myRollon: a comprehensive digital tool
myRollon continues to evolve as a comprehensive platform built to support the full product selection and configuration journey. Its structure is based on three core tools, each addressing a specific phase of the engineering workflow.
The Selection Tool helps users identify the most suitable solutions by analysing application parameters such as operating conditions, dimensions and loads. Based on these inputs, it suggests optimized options that balance performance and cost-efficiency and generates a detailed technical report for each analysis.
The Configurator & Interchange tool allows users to define product configurations in detail, generate unique product codes and request quotations. It also offers an interchange function: by entering an existing product code, users can receive a proposal for the most compatible solution available within the Rollon portfolio, simplifying replacement or upgrade scenarios.
The Product Center functions as an advanced digital catalogue, providing access to a wide range of resources including 3D CAD files, technical documentation, maintenance leaflets and additional selection options. This centralized access helps ensure that relevant information is readily available during both design and implementation phases.
