Spherical Plain Bearings

Spherical plain bearings are mechanical components designed to handle multidirectional or rotational movements between two parts. Rollon’s range of spherical plain bearings has components suitable for various industries and applications. From Premium Line spherical plain bearings with integrated roller bearings, ideal for high loads, to Tesno spherical plain bearings, designed for heavy-duty applications with high performance even under extreme conditions.

Premium Line

Durbal heavy-duty spherical plain bearings with integral self-aligning roller bearings and low maintenance. Particularly suited for applications involving high speeds.

Basic Line

Durbal Basic Line spherical plain bearings, in accordance with DIN ISO 12240-1, -2, -3, are maintenance required. They are distinguished by high precision and dependability as well as by an outstanding cost-benefit ratio.

Durbal Classic Line heavy-duty spherical plain bearings. Maintenance free or required and ideal for heavy load applications and are also suited for use with impact loads.

Spherical plain bearings are mechanical components designed to allow rotary and oscillatory movements in different directions, even in the presence of misalignment. What is the difference between spherical plain bearings for axial and radial loads?

The main difference between spherical plain bearings for axial loads and spherical plain bearings for radial loads concerns the type of load they are designed to handle and the direction of movement. Spherical plain bearings for radial loads are primarily designed to support radial loads, i.e. perpendicular to the bearing axis. Spherical plain bearings for axial loads, on the other hand, can support loads parallel to the bearing axis.
